- 3 Doors Down - Here Without you - this songs lyrics just touch home with how i feel a lot of times
- 3rd Eye Blind - How's It Gonna Be - same goes for this one as for Here Without You, and it's just fun to sing along to
- 3rd Eye Blind - Jumper - the words here seem like they were written to me at some times
- 311 - Beyond the Gray Sky - i like the chorus, just pretty lyrics and uplifting, in a weird, 311 kind of way
- Alice In Chains - Don't Follow - man you have to be numb to not feel this song..very very touching
- Alice In Chains - Nutshell - another deep song
- Alice In Chains - Whale And Wasp - instrumental with no need for words, its only so-so until about halfway through they bust into more musical sounds, and it gives me a crazy feeling i cant really explain, but then again, im a weird dude, haha
- Allman Brothers - Soulshine - once again a song that makes you realize some things arent as bad as they seem
- Beach Boys - Don't Worry Baby - a lot of my friends tend to worry too much, so this is my message to them
- Ben Harper - Forever - in my opinion, his best song by far, just listen to the words and take it all in, i wish more people thought like ben in his slower songs
- Blessed Union Of Souls - Nora - very pretty and obviously from the heart
- Blessed Union Of Souls - I Wanna Be There - this song says to a special girl the things i cant
- Blind Melon - Change - such an emotional song if you feel where shannon is coming from,even if you dont like Melons style, listen to the words and you have to respect it
- Bon Jovi - Always - another song that says it all to the girl
- Brad Paisley - Whiskey Lullabye - this song is about my biggest fear, but u have to see the video to truly understand it - guy and girl get married, guys in military and has to leave, comes back to a cheating wife, drinks himself to death b/c he loves her so much, she blames herself (which she should) and drinks herself to death (good, serves her right)--but like i said, my biggest fear, which makes this song special to me
- Britney Spears - Everytime - sad song, again especially if you watch the video
- Bryan Adams - Heaven - great lyrics and vocals, especially the acoustic version
- Burt Bacharach - What The World Needs Now - great message and i like the guitar, nice and chilled but intense all the same...weird stuff
- Chris Cornell - Sunshower - chris is amazing, such a strong voice and he can sing any style, even opera...haha thats not a joke, he did ave maria and his version is the only opera song i can stand, and his lyrics are always amazing
- Counting Crows - Accidentally in Love - gotta love shrek 2 (and 1)
- Creed - Hide - fun to sing along with, and good lyrics
- Creed - Don't Stop Dancing - good message with it, keep your head up always
- Dave Mathews Band - Satellite - just great chill music
- Dispatch - Walk With You - the words and music are great, they use a flute in the version i have for the first 2 or so minutes, and its very easy on the ears
- Eagle Eye Cherry - Save Tonight - not much credit for a great song, im sure weve all felt this way before
- Elton John And Shania Twain - Looks Like We Made It/Something About The Way You Look Tonight - 2 fantastic songs rolled into one big duet, you need to hear this one
- Elvis Costello - Alison - elvis c knows how to get his feelings across to anyone
- Enrique Iglesias - Hero - this song takes me to homecoming my sophomore year, haha i sang it to my girlfriend, a very meaningful song
- Eric Clapton - If I Could Change The World - whats a list without clapton, what a great song
- Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight - a good song, but i know every woman in the world would wanna kill me if it wasnt in this list
- Eric Johnson - Cliff Of Dover - guitar solo, great to jam out to
- Foo Fighters - Times Like These (acoustic) - this version just makes it feel like a deep song, and i like the lyrics, its times like these you learn to live again, a song to reminisce..even if you cant spell it? ha
- Fuel - Falls On Me - this song seems deep, and the lyric "all you dream, it falls on me" and "your beautiful sky, it falls on me" makes me think what could he be talking about
- G Love And Special Sauce - Free At Last - short and sweet, just a nice little tune
- Garth Brooks - The Dance - once again, a song that says it all, one simple decision can easily change your entire world
- Gavin DeGraw - "if you wanna be with me, you hafta follow though" girls, if you like a guy, let him know because we cant tell, ever...no joke
- George Strait - Cross My Heart - a mellow, sweet country song with a touching message
- Goo Goo Dolls - Iris - i wish i could say how i feel like reznick does in this song
- Granian - Foresight - a dreamy song that is exactly that, a dream of the lyricist
- Granian - The World - this happy tunes lyrics really makes you wanna take notice of the small things in life
- Isley Brothers - this songs sound is just appealing to me, i dont know why
- Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - Lover Of Mine - a sweet hawaiian song from the greatest hawaiian musician ever in my opinion
- Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - Somewhere Over The Rainbow - a mix btwn somewhere over... and what a wonderful world, a beautiful song used in a lot of movies, must hear
- Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - White Sandy Beach Of Hawaii - my favorite song by Iz, pretty and melodic with the most loving lyrics possible
- Jason Mraz - Sleeping To Dream - i feel these lyrics a lot
- Jimi Hendrix - Angel - great great song with no credit whatsoever, even if you dont like jimi, give this a shot, youll thank me
- John Lennon - Stand By Me - id say john and ben e king did and equally amazing job on this song, a song for friends, no bout a-dout it
- John Mayer - Clarity - a mess of instruments throw together so beautifully, great tune
- John Mayer - Your Body Is A Wonderland - possibly the smoothest song in the world, haha, id say the top 20 at least
- Journey - Open Arms - a classic rock ballad
- Juan Louis Guerra - La Hormiguita - "the little ant", song is in spanish but even if you cant understand it, its still a happy song, just keep an open mind and enjoy
- Kid Rock - Cold And Empty - if the kid keeps his style more souther rock like this, he could easily get higher on my list, a lot more meaning than his usual songs, and not overplayed like picture
- Kiss - Beth - a big change in their style, this is a slow song written by their drummer to his wife b/c he missed her so much, turns out this song was a big hit and he had to tour more because of it, completely contradicting the songs point, haha great song
- Lee Greenwood - God Bless The U.S.A. - i dont have to say anything about this one, it says it all itself
- Linkin Park - My December - give this a shot regardless if you like this band or not, its slow, deep and touching, and i dont mean "slow" like breaking the habit, its chilled
- Live - Lightning Crashes - a sad and deep song about a mother dying and a child being born and the confusion and all the energy moving from dying mother to newborn baby, thats how i understand it anyways, listen to this song
- Longwave - Wake Me When It's Over - i usually dont like this style much, but something about this song just gets me
- Los Lonely Boys - Crazy Baby - great slower song
- Los Lonely Boys - More Than Love - my favorite song by the boys, great great song
- Los Lonely Boys - Velvet Sky - another awesome song, and these guys are awesome, they let me (a guy) on their tour bus and we just hung out and talked for over an hour until they had to leave to go to their next show..very humble to their fans, which is great and rare nowadays
- Lucky Dube - Romeo - hard to find, but a pretty song, kind of jazzy reggae, cool stuff
- Luther Vandross - Here And Now - what a strong voice ole luther has, and this chorus is just awesome
- Mad Season - All Alone - same singer, layne staley, as alice in chains, but this song has very little vocals, just a very simple, meloncholy song, yet still deep and meaningful
- Mad Season - River Of Deceit - another chilled song done beautifully by layne
- Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved - wow, amazing song, lyrically especially, and the style is different but great
- Matchbox 20 - 3 AM (piano acoustic version) - so much better than the original
- Moby - Porcelain - one of the most beautiful instrumentals, everytime i hear it it sends me to the beach scenes shot in thailand from the movie the beach...what a weird movie, but MAN its beautiful
- Oasis - Wonderwall - just always beena classic song in my book
- Oasis - Stop Crying Your Heart Out - great song by oasis, it was used in Butterfly Effect i believe..as the ending credits song, hey at least it got a little credit
- Ozzy Osbourne - Dreamer - ozzy is amazing when he sings slow songs
- Ozzy Osbourne - Mama I'm Coming Home - another classic by the man youd never guess has such a strong voice
- Pearl Jam - Last Kiss - maybe the best cover of all time, they did a beautiful job and its such a sad song...
- Prince - Purple Rain - almost the only prince song i like, and for a good reason,,hear this song if you havent, you wont regret it, slow and very deep, written after his father shot himself in the head.......
- Procol Harum - A Salty Dog - different, but a good song all the same, add a little variety in the music style, with great lyrics
- R. Kelly - The World's Greatest - this song makes me feel like i have the power to do anything in the world and succeed
- R.E.M. - Everybody Hurts - how true, a sad song
- Righteous Brothers - Unchained Melody - who would i be if i didnt put this song in the list..nobody, thats who
- Ritchie Valens - Donna - the same guy who did the rock version of la bamba, written for his girlfriend not too soon before he died in a plane wreck with buddy holly and the big bopper
- Ritchie Valens - We Belong Together - what a sweet song, and i recommend the movie "la bamba" to anyone, its a great movie
- Rolling Stones - You Can't Always Get What You Want - its so true, and a cool song
- Rolling Stones - Wild Horses - a cool song with good lyrics, i just wonder what it means to whichever stone wrote it
- Ruben Studdard - A Whole New World - yea..from aladdin, call me a sissy, but i love this song, even though i dont like ruben
- Sarah McLaughlin - Arms Of An Angel - again, call me a sissy but i love this song, its very touching
- Savage Garden - Truly Madly Deeply - smooth song, and i just always liked it for some reason, even though im not a big fan of the boy band thing..haha
- Seal - Love's Divine - a cool song by a great vocalist
- Selena - Dreaming Of You - a pretty song by a great singer whos life sadly got cut short by one of her most trusted friends...watch the movie "selena" if you havet seen it
- Sinead O'Conner - Nothing Compares To You - i hate putting this woman on here b/c she did the ultimate act of disrespect to our entire country...but hey its a song with a whoole lot of meaning behind it
- The Smiths - Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me - the title says it all..such a sad thing, but again im sure weve all felt this way
- Soul Asylum - Misery - a weird way of putting his message out there, but its a good song
- Stone Temple Pilots - Interstate Love Song - an awesome song and fun to try to sing alone with Scott Weiland
- Stone Temple Pilots - Plush - another great one to sing with, a cool song, i love STPs style, cuz its not slow, but its still chilled in a way, hard to explain, so give this song a shot
- Switchfoot - Dare You To Move - i cant imagine how many people this song has helped...beautiful lyrics and great music
- Switchfoot - Meant To Live - different than the other songs i like most by switchfoot, but good, and great message about what the worlds coming too 'we were meant to live for so much more" think about it..
- Switchfoot - On Fire - more great lyrics and music
- Switchfoot - Spirit - another fine song by a great new band
- Switchfoot - Twenty Four - a deep song about Jon Foreman's (the singer) thoughts about everything on the day before his 25th birthday..pretty deep, and awesome, this band gives me hope that not all music is going downhill
- Tim McGraw - Live Like You Were Dying - something we all should do, the title says it all, but still a good song to hear
- Tim McGraw - Watch The Wind Blow By - again, i wish i could express myself like a lot of my favorite singers can
- Tom Petty - Wild Flowers - a simple, beautiful song, hear this is you havent, and chances are, you havent, haha
- Trisha Yearwood - How Do I Live - very emotional in ConAir, haha, but a fantastic song
- U2 - Walk On - never give up and always walk on
- Uncle Kracker - Better Dayz - not my favorite style that uncle has had, but this song is great anyways, the lyrics show how i think everyone should feel
- Unwritten Law - Elva - a good song, a change from a usually not so good band
- Van Morrison - Into The Mystic - wow is pretty much all i can say..i duno what it is, but this song is just amazing to me...i have no idea
