A wes anderson fan i see, i think ihs movies are great! wellcome to listology!
great choice of movies here! eternal sunshine, fight club, godfather and rushmore all faves of mine!
Cool, always nice to meet a fellow Wes Anderson fan.
The Royal Tenenbaums is my favourite, what's yours?
I have yet to see The Life Aquatic though. Betchia it's awesome. Have you seen it yet?
Anyway, thanks for the welcome. :) Later dude!
yes i agree, not only is Royal Tenenbaums my favourite wes anderson movie, its my favourite movie ever, any film. As for The Life Aquatic, no i haven't seen it yet but can't wait! i live in Uk and it hasen't been released yet (aaaahhhh) but i plan too see it straight away
i see Garden state on your list, your right that wwas amazing! are oyu a fan of Scrubs also?
i noticed Wes's first movie Bottle Rocket Wasn't on there, not yuor taste? but if you haven't seen it, its great! HERE IS A LINK
Oh sweet, you're from the UK? Where from, exactly? How long after US releases do you guys usually have to wait for a movie?
Yeah I really liked Garden State. I think it really hit home, for everyone really -- everyone's feeling pretty lost nowadays, eh?
The music was really great too. I've always loved The Shins, and that movie got everyone talking about them. Yay!
And yes, I'm a huge Scrubs fan. It's one of my favourite shows, for sure. It's so wacky.
I rented Bottle Rocket today, so I'll probably be watching it this weekend. Thanks for reminding me about it! I totally forgot I wanted to see that one! :):) What'dya think about it, compared to say, Royal Tenenbaums?
yeah i'm in the middle, centre. i'm inbetween birmingham nad Worcester. as for the release thing well, hhhmm let me see. Garden state came out in July / August time in USA i think and here it came out..December 10th :) its about that with all films, some are less. Meet The Fockers was about 2 months difference so it does change
Garden State: yes it deffinatly hit the mark on the feeling of being lost. for sure. lol was that "yay" relating too the sudden fame of The Shins..a sarcastic one? :)
Man did you hear the great news about the release of scrubs DVD? its comming out MAY 17th!!! go HERE for boxart and more info on its features. oh yeah, i'm crazy about this one!
As for Bottle rocket. well compared to Tenenbaums it is quite different. its more real. it's characters are less zaney and the story is alot more plot based - goal, and how they get to that goal. where Tenenbaums is more of an open ended story of a family, IMO. though Tenenbaums is my favourite, i do prefer Bottle Rocket Too Rushmore. saying that though its like bottle rocket is 100% and Rushmore is like 99% lol so when i say rsuhmore is my least favourite, i'm not saying its bad lol its great by any standard but i do like bottle rocket better. lol i do hope you like it, if you rented on my word, hope it does not disappoint. so yes compared to Royal Tenenbaums it is more real and less "off tilt" but like tenenbaums, it has alot of heart. it also contains Owen Wilson's best performance (and lukes for that matter)
hope i helped!
(sorry for any spelling errors-i type very quick!)
wahhhhh i thought i heard rumors about the Scrubs DVD! and it's true! it's true! YAY! That is so incredibly wicked!
haha hmm... you know, about the "yay" Shins thing, i'm actually happy about their sudden fame. i think everyone deserves to know The Shins, ya know? :)
and crap, I didn't have time to watch Bottle Rocket yet. I did see the first very funny 20 minutes though. Heehee.
anyway, thanks for the Scrubs info! huzzah!
