Wow, synchronicity! You have quite a few of my favorites on here, and even the ones I don't out-and-out love I at least admire quite a bit. I guess I'll have to see the two I haven't so far (Kicking and Screaming and Boogie Nights).

Thanks, jim, that's very cool!

Boogie Nights is a sprawling ensemble picture (a la Nashville) that features many of my favorite actors.

Kicking and Screaming is the dark horse in my top 20. It's definitely not going to be to everyone's taste, but I admire both its sense of humor (talky and intellectual), its tone (melancholy), and its subject matter (Gen X-ers whining about post-college life.)

I'm a bit trepidatious about Boogie Nights, as I really didn't like Magnolia, but I'm game to try, especially based on the rest of your list. Thanks for the follow-up comments to give me a taste!

You rock like 99% of the time dude but you're being demeritted for the inclusion of West Side Story. Sorry. :?)

T'ho

:?)

I willingly accept the lumps. :) What can I say, the music awesome and Natalie Wood was absolutely gorgeous.

If it helps, I was this close to including Singin' in the Rain instead of WSS.

You could be at 100. Singin' in the Rain would give you a perfect score. :?D
