Ugh, C+ is waaay too generous for Homer vs. Dignity. That panda rape scene might be the stupidest thing to ever happen on the Simpsons.

Actually, I also think maybe it is a little generous. It has some horrible scenes, panda rape being one of them, yet it manages to scrape this grade by not being as unimaginative as other episodes of the time and having several jokes that would've fit well into the classic era. The first examples that I think of are 'financial panda', "I could buy a gun!" and even some of the stuff involving Lenny being hit by the pudding manages to make me crack a smile.

The plot doesn't interest me at all, it feels like a Saturday morning kid's show. The conclusion seems pretty sappy to me as well.

i've decided that natural born kissers and The Cartridge Family are the only post season 8 episodes that have any credit to their name, The Cartridge Family is brilliant! love the soccer bit at the start, and the Ex con home security gag

to name the best of these seasons. There's still quite a few watchable episodes.

Homerazzi & especially 24 Minutes have really pushed the game back up a few notches. qaulity laughs that bring back type of joy while watching that has been away for far too long.

Don't forget Little Big Girl, I found that funnier than the two you mentioned. From what I hear about the rest of the season yet to air in the UK, it's a mixed bag. But yeah, those episodes were pretty good. There's usually a period in the season of a few episodes that reminds us why the show was ever good.

wasn't biggest fan of Little Big Girl but it did have some moments. the bit where Bart & Darcy are kissing in the car and bart turns around a pendant thing with millhouse's picture on it, that set me off i was laughing half way through next scene lol
