Shows cancelled before their time - excellent, but killed by network politics.

Poor Maximum Bob never got ANY chance - it premiered during the summer, ran for 6 episodes, and died.

What about "My So-Called Life" ? I was addicted to that show...I knew Clare Danes had "IT" from the first time I saw her.

Definitely a bad move on ABC's part to cancel it. I'm in love with Jared Leto.

I thought "Sports Night" was picked up by a cable channel?

Only the right to run the existing episodes, I think - I haven't heard that they're making new ones.

Thanks, timepiec. I got the scoop. Comedy Central is currently showing back to back re-runs of Sports Night at 10pm on Thursday. Also Aaron Sorkin did receive offers from other channels to continue production of actual new episodes but for some reason he put the kabosh on it. Probably because of his shroom habit.
