Great list! Don't forget Godfather II.

But I must respectfully disagree with the inclusion of: Temple of Doom (too mean-spirited for my taste, not to mention Kate Capshaw's character), Predator II (if the first half were as good as the second half, I'd agree with you), Batman Returns (personally loved Keaton's Batman and Nicholson's Joker), and The Lost World (just plain hated it :).

While I haven't seen it, I would be amazed if I liked Pig in the City better than Babe, which was a gem of a movie. I'll have to check it out!

Just found this old comment of mine. I don't think I liked Pig in the City better than the original, but I sure did enjoy it. An entirely different experience from Babe.

This is a joke right? City of Angels better than the original? It was a pale rip off! switched some characters around, killed a different relation... pure junk methinks.

I have to (kindly) disagree with a couple on your list.
Once again, I thought the Temple of Doom plot was pretty thin in comparison to Raiders.
I didn't think that Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey even compared to the first one. The giant Easter Bunny and the Grim Reaper just can't stand up to Lincoln and Socrates.
I didn't care for The Lost World at all. Jurassic Park wasn't any good in comparison to the book either, but at least there wasn't completely corny things taking place in the movie.
I do, however, totally agree with you on Superman II and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
