I knew it already but I really don't enjoy Scorsese's movies all that much... anyway I agree with your ranking for the three masterpieces and I suspect these are the three Scorsese movies "critics" would be prompt to label as the best
This said, I absolutely disliked Cape Fear, I found the story badly-treated and the directing was overdone in its "Scorsese" effects but you be the judge of that when you get to see it soon

Apparently you're not the only one who don't like Scorsese's films.
Contrary to this, I liked most (actually every film except The Age of Innocence) of his movies. I just love the atmosphere Scorsese masterfully establishes in his motion pictures.
