Saki has a fun alternative history in which the Germans take over England, called When William Came--I wonder if that's where Harry Turtledove got the idea for Curious Notions? Of course, Saki's was written before WWI, so it's more of a whacked-out prophecy than an alternative history.
I would have loved to have had a list like this when I was 11...
