  1. For No One-The Beatles (Paul McCartney sounds sunny as usual, but the lyrics are blunt and unforgiving).
  2. Love Will Tear Us Apart-Joy Division (What more is there to say? The Chicago Tribune once printed the entire lyrics on Valentine's Day).
  3. Hey-The Pixies (they actually sound like they mean it here instead of tongue in cheek).
  4. My Curse-Afghan Whigs (instead of Greg Dulli's overthetop ranting, this is sung by that great singer from Scrawl).
  5. Country Feedback-REM (this one is worth it for just that one line: "Crazy what you could have had").
  6. Life in Rain-Remy Zero (if you have not heard this song or band, do yourself a favor).
