- for a list of songs lifted heavily from by led zeppelin (i'm being polite because i happen to enjoy them), see wilson and allroy's page
- vanilla ice getting away with his uncredited "sampling" of queen & david bowie's "under pressure"

i know there are probably a ton more of these little incidents, but i thought i'd get us started with these. feel free to add anything you've heard about that irks you along these lines.
Led Zeppelin copywriting and taking credit for old blue songs written by others.

Although Led Zeppelin did rip-off just about every great blues artist, they got their come-uppance b/c just every bad hair metal band ripped them off.
True, although those band are pretty much taking the sounds and riffs. Led stole entire tunes!
