I can't believe I'm seeing a reference to Hasting's on listology! It might not be the greatest record chain ever, but I've always loved the store format of having sizable sections of video/dvds, music, and books all in the same store. I've also found a lot of really great albums in the extensive used cd sections. I went to school in Waco for three years, which has one, and then when I moved on to Auburn, I was heartened to discover they had a Hastings here too...

yeah, I'll take Hastings. Austin (where I live in the out-of-college periods) has a great number of used CD stores, from which I've pulled some gems. But up here in College Station, Hastings is it.
Austin has some TERRIFIC used CD shops. I've pick up some great import / rare items there on the cheap.
Shalom, y'all!
