Perhaps the library's buyer and/or library members find her books particularly appealing. In any case, to my surprise, I've found her books an easy going and fairly enjoyable reading/listening experience. Nevertheless, me thinks more Maeve Binchy and less Anne Rivers Siddons would improve the library's offerings of female authors of this genre.
