  2. [***_]Angels & Demons - Dan Brown
  3. [*___]Eragon - Christopher Paolini
  4. The first 100 pages read like a D&D script. A little unorigional. It got better toward the middle, but I ended up losing interest 3/4 of the way through. no "bad" for a first book... could be better.
  5. [***_]Wicked - Gregory McGuire
  6. [***_] Mossflower - Brian Jaques
  7. This one and "Redwall" are others I wish I'd read as a kid. They reminded me so much of Disney's Robin Hood.
  8. [***_] Redwall - Brian Jaques
  9. [***_] Complete Works - William Wordsworth
  10. I read this after visiting his home in the Lake District of England... it is so beautiful. You "feel" nature... a connectedness. A piece of me will always be in love with Keswick-on-Derwentwater.
  11. [****] The Five People You Meet In Heaven - Mitch Albom
  12. AMAZING!!! What a cool concept of the afterlife!
  13. [*___] Remains Silent - Micheal Baden
  14. Cliche-city. Dont bother.
  15. [***_] The Untouchables - Eliott Ness
  16. [***_]The Labyrinth - Kate Mosse
  17. [***_]"The Refiner's Fire" (Short story) - "Abraxan"

  19. [****] Interview With The Vampire - Anne Rice (5/23/06)
  20. [****]The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold (5/30/06)
  21. Beautiful! It reminds me of reading "To Kill A Mockingbird". Its not a pleasant story... but the joy of humanity shines through anyway. The end could've been better though.
  22. [****] Breakfast at Tiffany's - Truman Capote (5/31/06)
  23. Wow. Holly Golightly has so much (& at the same time, so much less) depth than the film. The film takes away the ambiguity of the narrator. This is one I can read again & again.
  24. [**__] "The Diamond Guitar" - Truman Capote (5/31/06)
  25. [***_] "House of Flowers" - Truman Capote (5/31/06)
  26. [***_] Bitter is the New Black: Confessions of a Condescending, Egomaniacal, Self-Centered Smart-Ass (or, Why You Should Never Carry a Prada Bag to the Unemployment Office) - Jen Lancaster (6/7/06)
  27. Not even pretending to be an intellectual book, i picked it up because i didnt have anything else to read. BUT i really enjoyed it. Its about a snotty girl's journey from excessive wealth & spending to eviction for ghetto apartments due to severe unemployment. This book is actually just what i needed. I got laid off monday from the job i really like and i've only had for 3 MONTHS (after being unable to find full-time work for 6 months post-graduation). I was becoming severely depressed (again) & Jen's sarcasm picked me up again. Thank you Jen Lancaster.
  28. [***_] Dissolution - C.J. Sansom (6/13/06)
  29. A little more Gothic than I usually prefer, however, VERY historically accurate. and... i like that the protagonist is a ill-tempered hunchback who doesnt get the girl & doesnt have everything work out "just right". its a little more realistic that way.
  30. [***_] A Million Little Pieces - James Frey (6/23/06)
  31. Ok... fiction. But as fiction, I liked it.
  32. [***_] A Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood (6/27/06)
