I loved Tunnel in the Sky, when I read it as a wee bairn. How does it hold up?
By my count Tunnel in the Sky was my 13th Heinlein novel and first of his juveniles. It was a quick read and seemed right in line with his personal philosophies although it really wasn't much in the way science fiction. More of an adventure novel really. I enjoyed it well enough and will probably check out some of the other juveniles.
I've heard other people refer to what you call "his personal philosophies", without knowing what they meant, because I haven't read any Heinlein since my youth. How would you characterize his beliefs?
