Author Comments:
Kubrick may have the best great movie to total movies made ratio. Here’s how his movies rate.
I've rated the films from a zero (horrible!) to four (wonderful!) star scale, with the links going to my reviews. As usual, I've only included films I've seen.

What did you love so much about Spartacus?
It's got a passionate performance from Kirk Douglas; the cool and devious, but regal Olivier part (as Crassus), and it takes the sword-and-sandal picture and adds complexity and depth with more modern political themes. I think it's leagues better than Ben-Hur and it's just a great epic.
