Rating the Films: John Carpenter

John Carpenter made his breakthrough with the slasher film, Halloween, and has really stuck with the horror genre his whole career. He’s made some real stinkers, but he’s also had some clever things to say about society. He scores his own films, which is usually bad news, but always distinctive. Here’s how his films rate.
