Fincher has a frenetic style that can be put to great use (see Fight Club), but more often works against him. Here’s how his films rate.
I've rated the films from a zero (horrible!) to four (wonderful!) star scale, with the links going to my reviews. As usual, I've only included films I've seen.
Wow. I am shocked and quite pleased to see that Seven is at the bottom. I have only heard people say this movie is amazing and great and all, but I didn't find anything great with it. There were a few moments, but overall, I didn't enjoy it.
dang, and i'm about too see panic room, just bought it on the off chance ill like it but now its so low on your list im abit more worried! :)

If you click through to my review, I don't think there's anything there that would be too much of a spoiler, especially if you've seen the trailer. I had hoped to like it, and perhaps I'm a bit too harsh on it, but it comes out flat at best. Foster's still pretty good, even with the silly plot points she has to wade through, but it's definitely disappointing, more so when you compare it to Fight Club.
