Author Comments:
De Palma first made waves for a series of horror films, but has shown himself competent in mostly “manly” genres. He’s been up and down, but he continues to put a lot of effort into his films, which counts for a lot. Here’s how his films rate.
I've rated the films from a zero (horrible!) to four (wonderful!) star scale, with the links going to my reviews. As usual, I've only included films I've seen.

Good call on Scarface and The Untouchables,I am shocked that Snake eyes ranked so low.I found it very entertaining and mezmerizing in a way.
I recently rewatched The Untouchables, and while I still think it's a good film, it didn't work the magic for me as well as when it first came out. Have you both seen it recently?
I saw it not to long ago on TV, so was only half watching. I still love the Union Station sequence (with the baby stroller) and I love the scene on top of the court house. It's definitely got some cheeze factor in there, but I still really like it.
Wow, you really liked M:I more than Blow Out? To each their own, I guess. Have you seen Dressed to Kill?
