Iñárritu is one of the up-and-coming directors from Mexico (he’s often linked with del Toro and Cuarón) who have recently splashed onto the movie scene. Iñárritu loves to play with varying timelines and show how multiple story arcs are intertwined. He’s showing real promise, and has a definite presence behind the camera, with effective (and not nauseating) hand-held work, good editing, and an obvious talent for working with a load of people.
I've rated the films from a zero (horrible!) to four (wonderful!) star scale, with the links going to my reviews. As usual, I've only included films I've seen.
