Author Comments:
Do you know any of these without looking them up? Ones still unguessed (is that a word?) are highlighted.
Most of these were left unfinished by the author's death, but in some cases the work was abandoned some time before. I believe that all of these were published posthumously, but one of these is unpublished, and its fate is uncertain.
If you know of any others that should be added to this quiz, post the title and I'll add it.
Have fun!

I only know The Mystery of Edwin Drood. I believe it's Charles Dickens.
You nailed it.

Sanditon and The Watsons are both Jane Austen.
The Weir of Hermiston is Robert Louis Stevenson.
Juneteenth is, I think, Ralph Ellison.
The Castle is Franz Kafka.
The Love of the Last Tycoon is Scott Fitzgerald?
You're money, my friend...

Oh, and you could also add Wives and Daughters to the list, should you feel inclined.
I do, so I shall.

The Owl In Daylight... thats what I suggest
I haven't heard of that one--but I'm adding it anyway;)

I've never heard of No. 44, but I'm pretty sure The Mysterious Stranger is Mark Twain.
You're right, and No. 44 is an alternate title for The Mysterious Stranger.

The Original of Laura is Nabokov
