I'm just going to comment on all your lists today. Given what I know of you I'm not too surprised by any of these *except* Northern Exposure which I would have guessed to be right up your alley.
you know, it was recommended to me too, but i think by the time i got around to watching it the "soap opera" effect set in and i just couldn't pick up in the middle, not knowing the background. this could be on my list of "shows i missed the boat on" or something...
