Author Comments:
So, lets make a Top 100-list on our own.
The rules?
Everyone suggests one beloved film of his/hers (not necessarily the favourite), that is not yet on the list.
Only the first 100 to post, will have their films on the list.
Purpose?
Did you ever find a decent purpose to my lists? No? Then don't ask!

The Royal Tenenbaums (2001)
Thank you.
But say, not Raging Bull? ;-)
hahaha no. raging BULL is right....
Mulholland Drive.
Thanks! :)
Slacker (Linklater, 1991)
All About Eve
Trainspotting (Boyle, 1996)
His Girl Friday (Hawks, 1940)
Les Carabiniers (Godard, 1963)
I'll say 12 Angry Men.
The Best Years Of Our Lives (Wyler, 1946)
Ritual (Hideaki Anno, 2000)
Braindead (a.k.a. Dead Alive) (Peter Jackson, 1992)
Spirited Away
Not my obsolute favorute but a movie I am obsessed with now is Werner Herzog's Incident at Lochness.
I mean favorite.
Do you have an obsolete favourite?
Mine would be The Apple Dumpling Gang.
Haha! Mine would be Escape to Witch Mountain .
The Apartment
The Barbarian Invasions
Sansho the Bailiff (Mizoguchi, 1954)
might as well go with my numero uno since it wouldn't be mentioned otherwise... Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia(Peckinpah, 1974)
Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (Kubrick, 1964)
I'm going to be incredibly perverse and add:
Messiah of Evil (1975, Willard Huyck)
Which isn't to say it's not a favorite; in fact I adore it.
I've been waffling on this one. I was tempted to pick something off my favourites list like Arsenic and Old Lace , because I doubt anyone else would pick it and it is one of my top ten.
But instead I'm going to throw in my all-time rewatchable favourite, Groundhog Day . With all the Murray love on these boards, I'm surprised someone hasn't picked it already.
Casablanca
Happy?
What I did was pick my favorite from among the films I've seen (for the first time) over the last 5 or 6 months... As Good as It Gets
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Thanks a lot. Unfortunately, I only accept one movie per user, and so you'll have to eliminate the other. :(
I'll go with The Rules Of The Game-Renoir (1939) please, and make that "to go". (:
talk about a wide variety... even at 25
Brokeback Mountain
Well, this certainly isn't a totally predictable and/or evil/exploitative way to make sure it gets ranked right up there with the big guns on my part...
Serenity (2005, Joss Whedon)
The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
King Kong (Merian C. Cooper/Ernest B. Schoedsack, 1933)
Once Upon a Time in America (Sergio Leone, 1984)
Amélie (2001)
Knife in the Water (Polanski, 1962)
Waking Life (Linklater, 2001)
The Seasons (Peleshyan, 1975)
Trys dienos "Three Days" (1991 / Soviet Union / Sharunas Bartas)
Breathless by Godard.
Still holds an uber special place in my heart.
Fargo (The Coen Bros 1996)
My Neighbor Totoro
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
