- words that should end in -ic but now have an -ical ending, such as "historical" and lately "ethnical". What is wrong with "historic" and "ethnic"? Also "ironic" and "biologic" or "economic" (though economical is sometimes ok, or has it just been around longer)?
- traffic (see waste/inefficiency) - which would make traffical extremely annoying ...
- Times New Roman font - boring!
- those new plastic bracelets that are everywhere, starting with Lance Armstrong's yellow one. just give the foundation $2 already and don't pollute the Earth with more (eventual) trash.
- Coldplay
- those new internet ads that cover the window and move around
- People who wear scrubs in public - Please don't wear your gross biological-specimen-covered work clothes in restaurants or grocery stores!
- chopping vegetables and tearing lettuce - a tragedy as I love a good salad.
- file cabinets that won't allow you to have more than one drawer open at a time - I *suppose* it keeps me safe, but it's particularly annoying when all that's remaining is that little 1/4 inch that I neglected to shove the one drawer closed before attempting to open another.
- sugar-free gum - I can no longer find any mint gum in my vicinity that is not sugar-free, and I hate the taste of aspartame.

Oh, come on. It's not at all pathetical to unnecessarily lengthenify words. Don't you know it makes you sound smarter? ;)
