- When people correct grammar/spelling in informal situations - grammar and spelling are means to an end, not an end in themselves. If communication of meaning from one to another has succeeded, there is no need to take a step backwards and clean up the grammar/spelling!
- Speed limits - almost always exactly 15mph too slow for the situation, and almost never preventing incident (especially on wide open roads).
- People who talk to much - Granted, I try to make it difficult to tell whether or not I want to hear what they're saying, but some people just love to hear themselves talk to much. They could at least give you opportunities to end the conversation, but a 5-minute string of words is impregnable.
