Incredible list. Personally, I prefer Double Indemnity and The Big Sleep over Maltese Falcon. Also, Inherit the Wind is a great choice although I would give Witness for the Prosecution the slight nod. Nonetheless, phenomenal choices by you.
I almost added The Big Sleep (Bogart-Bacall version even though I loved Robt. Mitchum as Marlowe). Double Indemnity is also a fine movie. My reason for selecting Maltese Falcon is that it is recognised as the first of the film noir genre. My love of ITW was mostly for the subject matter, and what a cast.
