Over-rated prominent figures in Music I hate

Tags:
  • Kurt Cobain~ I see no redeemimg qualities of this guy. Sure, he had some clever lyrics. But they ALL were about his pain and anguish and he was a shitty guitar player. I get so tired of seeing him pop up on all these top guitar players lists just because he was influential. I grudingly admit that Nirvana was very influential, but I believe it was for the worst. Music all went downhill after that pretty much. I will give props to "All Apologies" it's a pretty song that shows some spirit. Other than that, Kurt and all his fanatics who like to worship suicidal, druggie, whining no-talent assclowns can get a life.
  • Jim Morrison~ I used to hate him alot more, but I still hate him alot. He wasn't that great of a singer, and I never saw him a "deep" or "intellectual" person. Just some one so doped up and stupid that he fooled everyone. The Doors movie was argravating.
  • Sid Vicious~ Much like Kurt with the no redeeming qualities. Except worse. What did he ever do that was worth while? He was a shitty bass player, and a shitty person.
  • Rogers and Hammerstien~ Yeah, they're probably talented. But I hate musicals alot and I hate playing them which I have to do alot.
  • U2~ I don't like them at all. Why the hell do we care about the political views of some Irish rock band? We should look to them for all our problems and believe they're trying to save the world? The Edge (stupid name) is not an amazing guitarist as everyone is fooled the band is just not good. Man, I'm getting lynched for that one....
  • B-52's~ It's not a burning hatred like that towards some other things on this list, but I don't like one bit....even though they aren't really prominent either. Well, they pop up like a bad pimple on the ass on society, and I'm sick of them. They'll sell thier sould for the shittiest gigs to remind everyone that they aren't dead yet. Flintstones, Captain Planet, Rocko's Modern Life, and countless other great thing have been tainted by thier skidmarks left from thier presence. I would say that "Love Shack" was alright before me Dad discovered it on our computor and hasn't given it a rest since. Man, I guess I really do hate them as much as the others guys here.

I know there's plenty more that piss me off......hmm......

Don't like R&H, eh? How about Alan Menken?

Re: U2. Have you heard Achtung Baby? If your main complaint is U2's overt political rantings, you should give this very personal, emotional album a listen. It's a far less political album that some of U2's other work.

Took the words out of my mouth. Achtung Baby is genius.

I might give it a gander. But almost as much as I dislike U2 themselves, I dilike thier music in general. Who knows.

Gosh, add acts such as 50 Cent and Eminem while you're at it
