Not-So-Funny Things That Made Me Laugh Out Loud

- The little boy that somehow managed to crawl into that stuffed toy display and ended up getting stuck inside the display. I dunno, if I were passing by, I think I would have dropped a quarter and tried to pluck that little boy out with those dull-tipped grabbers. The story made me chuckle at first until I learned the boy's father was roaming around somewhere and neglected to pay attention. Seems Dad's got a habit of doing that. Maybe he should have gotten stuck inside the dispenser.
- Dick Vermeil, head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, bursting into uncontrollable tears after his dismissal of one of his coaches. I absolutely love watching Vermeil cry like a little kid watching Snoopy, Come Home. He's not the least bit ashamed to show his sensitive side, especially if his third-string lineman's complaining of a split end. But his boo-hooing's wearing a little thin.

Snoopy, Come Home was one of the only films I bawled at as a youngster. I was convinced he was never going back. I think I was around 5.
I remember when I was 9, I was stuck in a car full of crying kids at the drive-in watching ET The Extra-Terrestrial. When the parent asked me why I wasn't upset, I said, "I know this director. He never has sad endings."
My God, I was a know-it-all before I hit double digits! How embarrasking...
Anyway, thanks for the list and the memories!
Shalom, y'all!
