Do you have one that you tend to use more than the others, or do you come up with a new identity every time you use a different site? Any good stories behind some of these?

I probably use evildonut most these days, there are too many sites to have different ones for each! Yes, most of them are explicitly the result of stories. Some are just goofy. evildonut was our fake band name in college, nicebug came from a message on my whiteboard in the dorm after smashing a bug against it, raspberry frappe was a soft serve flavor in the dining hall one day. lesbian lamp lady came from being mistaken (by my boss, no less) for being lesbian and from an obsession with lamps. angry raisins isn't even about me, it's from a friend who worked at a bookstore and was asked about "the book about angry raisins" (the grapes of wrath). motorcycle grrl comes from something someone called me at a bar when I had on a motorcycle-ish jacket (guys think they're really hilarious sometimes :). twinkies girl is from a grocery store checkout clerk who recognized me after I had asked where the twinkies were (sometimes, you just need a fix). antonio bandumbass is a jab at the actor who I think stinks pretty rotten.
I especially like the "angry raisins" story, but I didn't realize the Missions had a Puffy Taco as their mascot...of course, I don't know what I would have expected--an actual building with legs? I'm going to have to go to their site and get a glimpse of a living Puffy Taco.
In Montgomery, AL, close to where I currently live, the minor league team is the "Biscuits," and the logo is a biscuit with eyes, arms, and legs, and a pat of butter as his tongue. Logically, the actual mascot who walks around at games is a mastedon--apparently a mastedon fossil was found in the area years ago. I just love minor league baseball!

whew - there are a lot! henry the puffy taco is the mascot of the AA San Antonio Missions baseball team. Data machine was a moniker a boss gave to me (not the same one of LLL fame) when he thought I was very efficient at producing results. flash_bub came from chris berman of espn when what's his face was going to break the home run record - berman said something like "Look at all those flash bulbs going off" as so-and-so hit the ball, but it sounded to me like "bub" (I told you some are just strange). jen_factorial I also use a lot -and it's from a package i sent to a friend addressed simply to jen! seeing as we went to an engineering school, her first thought was the mathematical function rather than simply an exclamation point. katie scarlett is from gone with the wind. alley 5 demon was a result of my yelling at my classmates to shut up at 3 am in college as they made way too much noise outside my door. katydid is simply a nickname for katy.
the puffy taco is definitely a sight to behold. There is a taco joint of the same name, I think (Henry's Puffy Tacos) in San Antonio, too, and the tacos are pretty good (seeing as they have lots of competition and I'm picky). The best part of the game I went to was the mascot games between innings - particularly the one where the little kid has to chase the taco around the bases. The taco loses, of course, but at my game the kid actually knocked the taco over, which seemed to surprise him - as much as a taco can show surprise, that is! and yes, the baysox game and their cheap 1 lb. hotdogs definitely beats nosebleed seats for the orioles, except that I can walk to the o's games ...
Ah, to be able to walk to major league games; that would be nirvana...
