Author Comments:
Feel free to consult any of my lists to see which songs I like. Of course, this list has influence from my favorite artists / songs, but there are some choices here from artists I'm less familiar with as well, along with some selections that are just plain weird.
Bonus question: One of the songs on here, I have actually never heard, but just looked up the lyrics online. If you can name it, kudos to you.
Hints:
Here we have songs by Eric Clapton, Ben Folds Five, Elton John, Five for Fighting, Carbon Leaf, Fleetwood Mac, Dave Matthews Band. Also one from a musical, one from a commercial, and one from some classical music.

Aha, I knew you'd get 23 and 26! All correct, of course, AAA.
No one's posted here for a week and a half, but I still get more reads each day. I can only assume that this means that people keep checking the list but find my lyrics too hard. Therefore, in an effort to spark some more action, I'm posting some hints.
One of these songs is a popular Ben Folds Five song
And one is a popular Five for Fighting song
One is from a famous musical
And one is from a famous commerical
One is from a famous Eric Clapton song
And one is from a famous Fleetwood Mac song
And one is from a famous Dave Matthews Band song
One is a fairly obscure Elton John song
And one is from the most famous song by the fairly obscure band Carbon Leaf
Finally, one is from a famous piece of classical music
I will also post these hints in the Comments section above.
ok i'll bite, but i think i only know one more...
is number 7 clapton's "wonderful tonight"?
It is indeed!
25 is Five for Fighting. But I don't know the song name.
Eh, whatever, I'll give it to you. The song is called "Superman."
30. Rhiannon - Fleetwood Mac
6. Battle Of Who Could Care Less - Ben Folds Five
18. The Boxer - Carbon Leaf
11. Holiday Inn - Elton John
4. Impossible - from "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum"
16. Warehouse - Dave Matthews
and 15. just for Easter... Sounds like something by Handel, but don't know the title.
Nice, all correct. I'm impressed that you got the Carbon Leaf song - I love "The Boxer." And the Handel song is "The Messiah", I'll give it to you.
Now the only one left is that one from the famous commercial.
I cheated just for curiosity for the commercial lyric, so I'll let somebody else claim it legitimately. You did pick a pretty obscure one Bud.
Since I am a completist, how about someone guessing the song for #8? It's a famous commercial and stumpy gave you a pretty obvious hint.
After that, anyone wanna see a sequel of these? Or are we all tired of song guessing games?
I'm going to keep annoying everyone until someone guesses this damn song. Here's a bigger hint: the clue that stumpy gave you was "Bud." "Bud" is not only in the title of the song, it's also an abbreviation for the name of the product being advertised. Search for it on Google, I don't care. But as I am a completist, someone better name this song.
Okay, here are some more hints. The product name is Budweiser. The "Bud" in the song title actually has an apostrophe-S on the end, so it's "Bud's." There are four words total in the title of the song.
Other words in the title of the song include "This", "For", and "You." "This" is the first word, "Bud's" is the second word, "For" is the third word, and "You" is the fourth word.
It's "This Bud's For You"! "This Bud's For You"! For the love of God, someone please put this list out of its misery and guess "This Bud's For You"!!!
O.K. I'm gonna take a wild guess on #8 and say "This Bud's For You". THERE somebody finally smoked that sucker! @; )
Wow! That's right, stumpy! Good job, that was a hard one!
Boy I was so close too. It was right on the tip of my tongue. It seems obvious now that I know the answer!
