Quite the list!

I can recommend Eucalyptus, Writer's Idea Book. Also have read Coupland's Generation X. Also your interest in Heffron's writing book I would direct you to Natilee Goldberg's Thunder and Lightning. Since you want some Evelyn Waugh books I would point you in the direction of Pauline Melville's The Ventriloquist's Tale in which Evelyn Waugh's journey into Guyana is reference in fiction...also it is a real cool book. There is intertextual references to Evelyn was reading Dickens to a local.
Hope you have tons of space should someone decide to make your wishs come true.

Oh one more you might like is Monkey Beach by Eden Robinson...no reason in particular but you just might learn something about a group of people, a region and also laugh your guts out.

I've read Generation X. Haven't heard of the others. Thanks!

To kbuxton

I have seen your list of wanted books - I have quite a few of them for sale

Would you like to get in touch?

Brian@porcupine.demon.co.uk

thanks, but it's more of a wishlist for when I get money to spend on them, etc as opposed to ones I'm having trouble tracking down.

Gasp! Be careful what you wish for.

Correction: The Man Who Was Thursday is by G.K.Chesterton, not Kingsley Amis.

Oops. I got tripped up on one of those "introduction by" lines.

Phew! I don't know what you got, but you sure got it bad. ;-)

I think it's called a book addiction ;)

I am always fascinated by your wish list. You read widely, not to mention quickly. I admire that, as I fear neither really labels me, however much I love to read.

Shalom, y'all!

L. Bangs

thanks :)
