I see after posting in your CD post that you have many of the titles that I posted there so feel free to disregard most of those. I still feel that you should try some of the old delta blues, Robert Johnson, Son House, Charley Patton etc.

Thanks for the input. I like what I hear from Robert Johnson but I can never seem to find really quality CD's from the early blues era. I'm thinking maybe King of the Delta Blues? House and Patton are harder to find but I'll see what I can do.

King of the Delta Blues is great. Charley Patton has an album which I believe is the same title (lots of people are said to be king of the Delta Blues). Patton's voice is a lot rougher than Johnson's. Of the three I prefer Son House but it is hard to find copies of. I have a burned copy that I traded for because I've never been able to find any other copy.
