An easy description:
These are what I consider the best movies (that I've seen, obviously). If I'd made this list alphabetical the word "favorite" wouldn't be in the title (this denoting a subjective vs. objective view). The ranking really has more to do with my emotional tie to the movies, beyond the fact that I think they're all good movies, and all for very different reasons.

Highlighted are new additions to the list.
