Author Comments:

I have large essays explaining why I picked these albums being written, but I'm only halfway through with them. So I'll update this list with the thoughts on why I picked these choices as time passes. Until then, comments are always always always welcome.

Very good list here, minus one album that cover is Blue...

What the hell are you talking about Joe?

Joking cheif calm down...

cheif???? Joe have you been playing with the paint thinner again?

A lot of great albums listed here. Also many albums that are not expected. I always respect those who work against the grain, and this list is certainly that. It's great to see Kind of Blue in the list, and always much props to Radiohead. Strange to see DJ Shadow, and Squarepusher in any top 20 list, especially in front of Sgt. Pepper's? Also a very strange pick sits atop your list. Granted I perhaps have not given 'Being There' as many spins as I should have, I do not remember it being superior to most of your albums listed. I would not even call it the best Wilco. Your musical taste is all over the map, seemingly with a blend of the very modern, very classic, wild drum beats and jazz. Very elcectic, very cool. Great list!
