Sweet, thanks!

Cool! The Kid is one of my favourites as well. Not having ever seen any Charlie Chaplin stuff before studying film at university, I was pleasantly surprised that I could actually laugh during film class. There's so much that tickles me (or breaks my heart) in this film, but one of my favourite bits is where he's trying to kick away the kid in order to disassociate himself from the rock-throwing.

I can't take my eyes off Jackie Coogan in that film. I just want to squeeeeeze him.

He is wonderful in that film. When he cries as he's separated from the Tramp, my heart just breaks. I don't even want to know what they did to poor Jackie to make him cry like that.

I love the bit near the beginning when they're playing out their domestic life. His stack of pancakes is as big as he is!

He had a rough life, but it turned out all right in the end.
