Author Comments:

In a rather vague order. Yes, I do have a very unusual taste.. from Queen to Tom Petty to U2 to Val Doonican to Steps to Robbie Williams to the Verve to Phil Collins to Abba to REM to They Might Be Giants.

There probably would be even more Christmas songs were it not for me wanting my list to be slightly more varied!

Comments about how odd I am welcomed. ;-)

List will be extended soon!

Artists with 3 songs or more in the list:

REM - 13
They Might Be Giants - 12
Queen - 11
Abba - 7
Phil Collins - 7
Billy Joel - 6
Michael Jackson - 6
U2 - 6
Robbie Williams - 6
Boyzone - 5
Val Doonican - 5
Elton John - 5
Oasis - 5
Travis - 5
Beatles, The - 4
Tom Petty - 4
Steps - 4
Roger Whittaker - 3
Sha-Na-Na - 3

I absolutly agree with you about:
Easy Lover
Losing My Religion
Waterloo
Believe
Knockin' on Heaven's Door
Great list! ;-)

Cheers! :-)

Wow, that there's quite a list! :-) See my own here.

Thanks.. but I looked in your profile, and couldn't find anything similar to this under "Music"..

It's not in my profile. Just follow the link. It shows my most-played artists and most-played songs (which, isn't QUITE representative of my favorite artists and songs).

Funny enough, that link didn't work, but I discovered your Audioscrobbler page whih I assume is the same thing.. cool list!

Robbie Williams? =)

I believe warnings about my crappy taste were issued. =]

Your'e taste isn't that crappy...

Well, not all of it, but there's too much cheesy pop on that list really! At least I have Queen, Dylan, Petty etc. I guess...

I'm tempted to clone this list, but my favorites seem to vary from day to day, and it would take forever to weed out my favorites from among 10,000 individual tracks that I like (usually, only a few from any given artist).

Same here I guess, but I judged roughly by how long I would have considered each song my favourite/one of my faves.

No no no, it's Queen's "I'm In Love With My Car". You got it wrong...right? :?)

T'ho

:?)

If this is a joke I don't get it.. if this is serious, I have no idea what you're on about. =) Sorry!

Ok, sorry, I understand now.. and no, it's "Don't Stop Me Now", I don't like "I'm In Love With My Car" that much at all, heh.

Bummer.

T'ho

:?)

Fernando! Who else but Abba would have a pop song about the Spanish civil war?

I heard You Gotta Fight For Your Right to Party on the radio last night and I thought, that song is just timeless.

:D Yep, one of the great "shouty" songs IMO.

A good list but not enough Christmas songs!

WHERE THE HELL IS WONDERFUL CHRISTMASTIME BY PAUL McCARTNEY?!

Yeah, you should put that one in.

I agree.

..And so do I. :) That's why it was already #220!

did you like that Garden State Soundtrack in the end?

Yeah, got it yesterday - awesomely fantastic! I'll do my 'Rating The Tracks' for it later.

lol "awesomely fantastic" what a great phrase!

hi Wezzo. it's funny in 17 years of living i only heard Elvis Costello - Oliver's Army for the very first time yesterday. i liked it. i expected it to be a slow song but it was very "pop" and lively. just thought i'd say as it's your #2. cya mate.

Yay, glad you got to hear it - and like it! Was it on the radio or something?

yeah radio. it's weird because it was a nice change to what they usually play, ya know the recent "hits". oh and well i'm on the subject of recent music...Death to Crazy Frog! c'mon! he, wait..IT beat coldplay, whats going on? i hate that frog.

Shut up, you guys. I won't hear another word against the Crazy Frog.
