During the summer I rented about three or four movies a week, so I scratched off alot from the list, recently most notably Scarface, and Godfather part I and II. I would love to see more Al Pacino and Jack Nicholson movies, as well as any movie where Steve Buscemi plays a big part. My name is Jake, so I want to The two Jakes sometime soon, but I need to see Chinatown first.

My friend really says I should see Platoon and The Deer Hunter, but I haven't been able to watch War movies since my Dad made me watch Full Metal Jacket and Schindler's List in seventh grade. Those ARE NOT seventh grade movies.

Out of your list, I have seen these films and how I would rank them:
1. Scent of a Woman
2. Taxi Driver
3. Chinatown
4. A Clockwork Orange.
They were all great!
P.S.: I know most people don't agree with me concerning 'Scent of a Woman', but I really liked it. Al Pacino is mesmerizing.

The only one (apart from goodfellas, which youve now seen) that i have seen from that list is Taxi Driver. Its a good movie, i did'nt like it as much as people had been saying, i felt a little cheated. thuogh there are some great moments. like..When Robert Deniro's Character (Travis Bickle) Takes his girlfriend betsy on their first date..to a uh em..Adult movie. the way he acts is great, he really sees nothing wrong in what he did, in some ways its quite funny. but apart from that bit (inside spoiler tag) it was generally too dark and depressing for me, sure the acting was top notch, but i think it was way too depressing too really like it, but its pretty good. also its very intense, some of the issues and violence is very strongly presented and in some ways put me off, but its still a good watch. its a situation where you have to be prepared for a thought provocing and in-depth movie.

(Sorry for any spelling mistakes)
