:-) Thanks! The dirty little secret of my Secret Santa mixes is that I rely on others to discover good music for me, and then I pick from that limited sample the stuff I like best. On this mix I got the Adam Again from you, three-and-a-half songs from Uncut compilations, three songs from a buddy's mixes, three songs from another friend's mixes, leaving only 8.5 songs that I mostly discovered on my own. But even some of those can be traced back to somebody else pointing the band out to me!
I think catching on to music from the suggestion of friends still counts as discovering it on your own.
Or at least I hope so...

With any luck, I will make one of these up next year. I had most of a playlist for this year created, centering around water imagery, but alas...
