My Ranking of Johnny Depp's films (As I view them)

Tags:
  1. Films I haven't seen will be added to the official ranking as I see them! And I WILL see all of them!
  2. --------
  3. Pirates of the Caribbean (2003)
  4. Once Upon A Time in Mexico (2003)
  5. Ed Wood (1994)
  6. Edward Scissorhands (1990)
  7. Benny & Joon (1993) (This is the sweetest movie-- Johnny is AMAZING in this role! Is there anything he CAN'T do? I want my own little Johnny to play with, awwww...)
  8. Secret Window (2004)
  9. Chocolat (2000)
  10. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
  11. Sleepy Hollow (1999)
  12. Dead Man (1995)
  13. Donnie Brasco (1997) Al Pacino's performance trumped Johnny's here. But Johnny was great as usual, but Pacino drives this moreso than Johnny-- so it isn't as high on my "Johnny" list.
  14. Finding Neverland (2004)
  15. Blow (2001)
  16. From Hell (2001)
  17. Nick of Time (1995)
  18. the Astronaut's Wife (1999)
  19. ----------
  20. Not Yet Seen (in order by release date)
  21. A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) (I'm pretty sure I've seen this before, but I need to see it again. I don't remember Johnny... or much else of this film!)

  23. Platoon (1986)
  24. Cry-Baby (1990)
  25. Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991) (I did see this, but I don't remember Johnny!)
  26. Arizona Dream (1993)
  27. What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993) (I've seen parts of this, but not the whole film)

Author Comments:

Ratings are based on my personal enjoyment of the overall film and my enjoyment of Johnny's acting (and looks! Hey, his looks are usually important to his roles!!)

Do you find it odd that he did two different sets of movies with the same word in them (sort of)?
Ed Wood and Edward Scissorhands
&
Chocolat and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

...kinda weird....

Yep... and then there's Don Juan deMarco and Donnie Brasco too. :-p

Johnny's only in freddy's dead for like 10 seconds as a cameo
