Just so you know, I know close to nothing about classical music, these are just my personal favourites from what I've heard so far.
Works to be judged -
9th Symphony - Mahler

Very nice list. Based on your 10 rating of Rite of Spring I highly recommend you check out Glenn Branca's The Ascension. It's basically a symphony of abrasive noise. It's astonishing. May need 2-3 listens to take form, so think with that.
Thankyou! Sounds awesome, I'm getting hold of it right now, I can't wait to hear it if it holds similarities in structure, sound and quality to Rite of Spring. Any other recommendations you think I'd like?
Ostrobothnian Symphony-Balakauskas and as we've discussed before Jazz Composer's Orchestra by Michael Mantler, which is similar in ways to Branca's The Ascension, though with much more compositional complexity/depth and significantly more emotional impact, despite how difficult that is to imagine. Also, for no particular reason other than how amazing it is, you need to get ahold of Carla Bley's Escalator Over the Hill.
Thanks, they will all be acquired in the very near future! :)
