Note the lack of albums before 1966! This may have something to do with my relative lack of appreciation for jazz music. I may relisten to a few of the "greats" (especially in "avant-garde jazz") to see if I might give them 8/10 as well. I'm a fan of Anthony Braxton but he's not all that "jazzy" in even a very liberal sense. Of anything before 1966, I would presently give The Shape of Jazz to Come 8/10 but it was released in 1959...
