- The Professional - My all time favorite movie. Jean Reno is exellent as an Italian hit man who leans to care, while Natalie Portman showed she is a great actor even at 12 years old.
- Sling Blade - Billy Bob was great, and Dwight Yoakam is the man.
- Rocketman - Excellent stupid comedy. By Walt disney pictures, Harland Williams plays a weird computer guy who goes to mars. Couldn't stop laughing.
- Half-Baked - Another great comedy. Features Dave Chapelle as the Handsomest Custodian alive (or a janitor if you wanna be a dick about it.) Great movie about some pot head buddies tryin' to raise some cash to get a friend outta jail. Tommy Chong also has a funny role in this as the Squirrel Master.
- The Usual Suspects - The greatest trick the devil ever played, was convincing the world he didn't exist. Kevin Spacey Rocks!!!
- Update: June 17, 2001:
- O Brother, Where art thou? - Just saw it for the first time yesterday. I loved it. I watched bits and pieces of if again afterwards, as well as watched a second time before returning the rental today. George Clooney did a great job playing the lead character, as well as there was a cool cast of characters...I also loved the soundtrack...
- Mystery, Alaska - This movie wasn't spectacular. However, it has made my favorites because the movie did deliver a great story of one towns love for hockey. You can't argue with hockey.
- Slap Shot - The definitive hockey movie. I love the goalie in this movie....As well as the movie is just full of one liners that brings a smile to my face every time I hear one...(Dave's a Killer!!)
- The Saint - Val Kilmer does is great as an agent for hire...I loved to see him be so many different people with different accents throughout the movie.
- In The Line Of Fire - By far my favorite Clint Eastwood movie. John Malkovich also does a great job of altering who he is...excellent villian...also has great one liners...
- Tin Cup - Aside from hockey, the other sport I love is golf. Kevin Costner plays a golf instructor that isn't a has been, he is a never was...

Shows promise. Don't break it. (I should talk.)
I'd like to see this list continue as well. Hey, is the moniker "Concrete" a reference to the comic of the same name?
Wow!! I didn't think I would be posting here again.
I posted this list forever ago. The only way I knew that someone had responded to it was that my wife (you know here as Buddy) told me that I finally got a responce...
I will have to actually have to sit down and think about my other favorite movies and continue adding to my list...
And yes, The name I have chosen has come from the Dark Horse comic "Concrete" by Paul Chadwick...excellent series...
Cool. Some nice additions! I've never seen Slap Shot, but I'm a Newman fan, so I've added it to my Netflix queue. Glad Buddy told you about my post!
I checked out your comics list - we have similar tastes.
