You should see visconti's OSSESSIONE(1943)... imo a much much better version of the postman always rings twice.
I need to finish watching Ossessione (1943). It came on Turner Classic Movies a couple of weeks ago at 2:00 in the morninig. I started recording it when it came on because I knew I wouldn't be able to stay up and watch it all. I still haven't finished it yet though.
