Can't see Burt Lancaster on the list.
Your shakiest 'legend' is probably Charlie Bronson - but he was in a lot of movies that entertained me over the years. Have you seen From Noon Till Three? - a very unusual western.
thats because he's not on it... believe it or not i've never really seen a burt lancaster movie... and i haven't seen from noon till three... considering bronson's big three, once upon a time in the west, the great escape, and the magnificent seven, with the dirty dozen... i consider him a legend
Much as I like Bronson, I wouldn't consider his role in The Great Escape to be one of his most memorable - only a secondary character in that really.
oh i didn't say it was memorable... i was just pointing out the few good movies he was in so as to point out i don't love him for all the horrible ones he made in the 70's and so on.
Oh Dude, Batman is the funniest show on television. Much like Deadly Fingers, it doesn't mean to be so funny but its hilarious! I could be in the worst mood and Batman can cheer me up.
it's also the only batman movie i like
and actually it does mean to be funny... it's comicbook satire
I Want too see a day where Jim Carrey dosen't have to be placed in "Guility plessure" ,now this is NOT a dig at your placing of him in any way, i just wish that Jim would be considered more of an "official" actor, what i'm trying too say is i want a day when being a fan of jim carrey isn't considered a guility plesssure!
i see what you mean... i'm starting to feel less and less guilty about liking him though... now that i've seen cable guy and eternal sunshine... he may be off the guilty pleasure list pretty soon...
Nice to see someone give a nod to ol' Ernie Borgnine. I always liked him at his most evil and wicked. Bad Day At Black Rock to Emperor of the North.
the badlanders is actually what changed my mind... i've always either loved or hated him... i just didnt have enough movies i loved him in to give him the nod until now.
yeah, your a friend of mine now Chum.
Great Non-Leads = Steve Zahn
Totally in agreement. his performance in Joy Ride was great and in saving silverman.
yeah he's great... incredibly underrated comedy actor.
Greg Peck and Stevey Queen...my mother's names for her two parakeets...
haha... that's great stuff.
What a dream western cast those 5 superfavorites would make!
