- Murder Me Dead - six part Mini Series by David Lapham
- Valiant Comics - Very early stuff, anything written by Jim Shooter, or Barry Windsor-Smith.
Pretty much anything by Frank Miller is great (with the exception of the movie Robocop 3...ugh)
Cerebus by Dave Sims is also a good ongoing series, however, not quite enough to make my list of favorites...
