Great list, but only 19 - my list would be closer to 190.
MY favourite Beatles track, and possibly my all-time favourite-ever song,
is Let It Be.
Other favourites of mine include:
Hey Jude
All My Loving
Help
I Saw Her Standing There
I’ll Get You
and predictably:
John Lennon - Imagine
George Harrison - My Sweet Lord
Paul McCartney - Maybe I'm Amazed
I love your other choices from Let It Be - I've Got A feeling, Dig A Pony and Two Of Us are often overlooked and underrated in my view. Across The Universe is also a fantastic song, but so poorly performed on the album.
I also like Let It Be, but I prefer the non-album version more.
Across the Universe is not well-recorded, I agree, but such a great song. I have never heard the cover version of it by Fiona Apple.
One song that I neglected was "Dear Prudence". It should be on my list.
Dear Prudence is good, although I prefer Come Together - it has a similar feel to it.
I've not heard the Apple version of Across The Universe either.
