Although i will be doing a list of my favorite film scorers and their best scores... morricone is the only one who makes this list cause he's the only one i can listen to regularly aside from watching the movies.
If i put them in other it's because i just didn't know where else to put em. Could be pop i guess but nowadays pop is sort of a derogatory term.

"If You've Got The Money (I've Got The Time") was a Lefty Frizzell song. I've never heard a H. Williams cover of it. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I don't recall a song by Hank Sr. called "Dixie", but Hank, Jr. has one called "Dixie On My Mind". Is that the one you mean?
"Please Help Me, I'm Falling" was a big hit for Hank Locklin. Did Hank Snow do a cover? (By the way, anyone who knows more than two Hank Snow songs HAS to be from Canada ~;^)
The Lynyrd Skynyrd song is just "Simple Man".

alright... i'm confused... to be completely honest i have all of my hank williams songs off the internet... and i can't find any proof of hank williams ever doing "if you've got the money"... but i've heard the lefty version and it's definitly not that... and the one i listen to sounds exactly like HW and is labelled that way... so i just assume.
as for Dixie... it's not jr's dixie on my mind, it's actually Dixie Canonball... my mistake, and that is definitly a HWsr song.

I don't love it as much as the people who recommended it to me... in fact i don't really get the widespread obsession among dylan fans, but I do love it.
Well, obviously many of us just think it is a brillant song. Another nice facet is that Dylan has teased it into alternate forms with great success; witness the version on the otherwise horrid Real Live. Pronouns bounce about, and the end result is fascinating.
