These are my personal favorite songs over the last 25 years . This list includes songs from albums 1978 and after. I did not include anything from '77.








R.E.M. has way way too many spots on this list, they deserve two spots on this list at best. Mysterious ways is also the worst kind of popular nonsense floating out in the mainstream (thank you U2, they should have called it quits after Joshua Tree). Radiohead is the shining light on this list. One serious note though, including The Strokes on this list isn't a good idea, they only been around what a year!?!?! They don't deserve a spot on this list just yet, although their music is great.
