- Modest Mussorgsky - Night on a Bare Mountain
- Mozart - 25th Symphony (Allegro Con Brio)

- Tchaikovsky - 1812 Overture (Particularly the end)
- Beethoven - 5th Symphony (Allegro Con Brio)
- Igor Stavinsky - The Rite of Spring
- Williams - Imperial March (Cmon, the Empire used it!)

I presume this is only classical?
Well, at the moment - I can't think of any appropriate rock ones (certainly not Jazz), without resorting to the incessant pounding of Shit and Shine, but I want the inspiration war-type music these above options all possess.
Funny the most appropriate rock one i can think of (with more of an emphasis on glory like the classical selections, as opposed to the tribal/anger emphasis of say Shit & Shine or Downward Spiral) is Metallica - One. Though the lyrics are regarding the horror of war so...
Another not so much anti-war as apathy is Portishead - Machine Gun. A fair few techno songs could be grouped with Shit & Shine and Downward Spiral especially Solar Quest - Acid Air Raid.
I've also heard before that the American tank soldiers listen to Drowning Pool - Bodies during combat. The lyric "let the bodies hit the floor" probably has something to do with. To be honest I'm sure these days nu metal or hardcore/gabber would inspire many people for the required blood lust. For me I'd use Why Don't You Eat Carrots? :D
EDIT: regarding classical obviously 4th Movement of Beethoven's 9th! It certainly inspired Alex in Clockwork Orange.

First rock artists that comes to mind is Hendrix. Especially his rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.
I've heard of a genre called Martial Industrial, though I haven't had the time to explore it. Its essentially war music. One album I do know of is Triarii - Muse In Arms
