I would LOVE to see the Muppets do Rocky Horror.... That's a fabulous mental image to start the day with, thank you. :)
I'm writing a Muppet treatment of a James Bond movie. I think it would enhance the value of both franchises.
I don't approve of the combination of Muppets and guns (unless lobster banditos need to rescue an amigo.) Having said that, Quentin Tarantino has appeared in The Muppet Wizard of Oz, the Muppets have done Plump Fiction and someone has done a quite skillful Pulp Muppets.
I'm sure I can come up with a more reasoned list when I give it more thought... off the top of my head:
The Frog of Monte Cristo
Gonzo de Bergerac
It's a Wonderful Life (with the unrelated original Ernie & Bert)
A Midsummer Night's Dream
Mr. Frog goes to Washington
The Next to the Last Waltz
On the Town
Singin' in the Rain
The Thin Frog
But what I really wanted to say is: It's Rowlf the Dog.
"Brought to you by the letters F and U."
Do the Right Thing
Yo, Ernie! ... Stay Orange!
