You know those movies where you spend pretty much the whole time yelling at the screen and/or writhing in frustration at the lame characters and their stupid decisions. These are them.

Jen, there are LOTS more than these. I groan at the stupid behaviour of the characters in almost every "Action" or "Thriller" movie I see.
About A Simple Plan, I guess I didn't see it as people making really stupid decissions. I felt it was a well done movie, with real people. To me, it illustrated that "evil" can occur in everyday lives, not just in the lives of larger than life characters. I didn't feel that the people acted too stupidly. I will have to watch this one again, since, at the time, I really enjoyed it.
I agree. I felt that these people weren't making stupid decisions because they were stupid. They were making those decisions because given the right circumstances, anyone can become victims of their own weakness.
I have a serious question about modern vernacular. Almosy every person I know under the age of 30 uses the ( I am guessing this is the correct classification) pronoun Dude to indicate a male. Yet in your writeup for Enough, I am assuming the dude in question is Jennifer Lopez. Can Dude be used fo both sexes and does anyone know how Dude became so popular a choice? Any help would be appreciated.
I guess for me anyway, Dude is just a term to address someone in a casual, friendly or sometimes stupefied way. It can be an entreaty, a la BASEKETBALL's dude-off.
Dudette, by the way, is unacceptable. It just sounds dumb.
It's like actor and actress. Actress is starting to become a little out-of-date sounding.
Guys is also better than dolls. Dolls, ick. I would never call a girl a doll.
Hey you guys has been an acceptable gender-neutral term for some time now, so why not dude?
Hope that helps!
Thanks Dude.
The Glass House. Another one of those 'call the cops, and the movie is over' movies.
I'm a little offended by that zombie comment.......
